
Jeremiah Nathaniel “Jeremy” Clodfelter, the son of James Dean and Alma E. Clodfelter, was born September 1, 1977, in Hamburg, Iowa. Jeremy attended Rock Port High School, Rock Port, Missouri, graduating in 1996. He then attended Northwest Technical School, earning his Certified Nurse’s Aid certificate.
On August 7, 2010, Jeremy was united in marriage to Sara Elizabeth Raya at Grace Church, Rock Port. They made their home in Rock Port.
Jeremy was employed as a counselor by Tarkio Academy, Tarkio, Missouri, Tarkio Rehabilitation and Health Care, Shelton Fireworks and Wood’s Shed, Rock Port. He also was employed by “The Klub” as a cook and at a grocery store in Nebraska City, Nebraska. Jeremy currently worked as a CNA at Pleasant View Nursing Home, Rock Port.
Jeremy attended United Methodist Church, Rock Port. He had a fun spirit and enjoyed laughing and teasing with his family. He also enjoyed playing video games and fishing. Jeremy passed away Monday, August 16, 2021, at his home in Rock Port, at the age of 43.
Jeremy was preceded in death by grandparents, Alfred and Sylvia (Case) Clodfelter; and aunts, Peggy (Makings) Clodfelter and Diana Rivett.
Survivors include wife, Sara Clodfelter, Rock Port; siblings, Charlie (Julie) Clodfelter, Rock Port, and Hallie (Brian) Moyer, Cameron, North Carolina; parents, James (Alma) Clodfelter, Rock Port; mother-in-law, Judy Raya, Rock Port; nieces and nephews, Maya, Aleyda, and Sadie Clodfelter, Rock Port, Keira, Aaron, and Olivia Raya, Rock Port, and Colt and Sam Moyer, Cameron; brother-in-law, Matthew (Rebecca) Raya, Savannah, Missouri; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A private family memorial service was held Friday, August 20, 2021, at Grace Church, Rock Port, conducted by Pastor Chris Shimmel. Inurnment was held at High Creek Cemetery, Watson, Missouri.
