Randall R. Reid, son of Milton and LaVona Maxine (Stalcup) Reid, was born February 6, 1950, in Maryville, Missouri. Randy attended Rock Port High School, Rock Port, Missouri, graduating in 1968. He excelled in football, track, basketball and art. He attended Northwest Missouri State University and pledged Delta Chi Fraternity. He received his degree from Pittsburg State University. He was a colorist and very talented artist by profession, and loved to share his art with family and friends. He loved history and reading about Lewis and Clark. He had created a new concept in golf course design he had hoped to patent. Randy was a light in the lives of his family and will be greatly missed.

In 1971, Randy was united in marriage to Terry Freeman. They later divorced. In 1995, Randy was united in marriage to Cathy (Walker) Krogmeier. She survives of the home. Randy passed away unexpectedly, Wednesday, July 14, 2021, at their home in St. Charles, Missouri, at the age of 71.

Besides his parents, Randy was preceded in death by his in-laws, Corwyn and Margaret Walker. He is survived by his wife, Cathy Lee Reid, St. Charles, her triplets, J. Travis (B. J.) Krogmeier, Jennifer J. (Stephen) Hardy, and Chad M. (Laura) Krogmeier; his sister, Jacque Gayle (Gary) Gebhards, Rock Port; eight grandchildren, including the oldest, Michelle Hailes, who visited often, and the youngest, Brielle Hardy he enjoyed visiting weekly; six great-grandchildren; nephews, Tad Randall (Michelle) Gebhards, Tyler Reid (Sarah) Gebhards, niece, Tawni Diane (Demian) Ellis, seven great-nephews/nieces, Carter, Grant, Logan, Reid, Karlie, Will, and Ali; sisters-in-law, D. Jean (Terry) Morse and Pat A. (Jim) Allen. Let us not forget his beloved dog Tanner and loving Missy Kitty.
