The Pitch Club met Tuesday, August 24, 2021, at Martha’s B & B with all members present. There was a tie for high score. Norma Bradfield and Susan Braams split the winnings. Merylan Lowrey had low score. Merylan was hostess and served a gluten-friendly Coca-Cola chocolate cake with vanilla bean and cherry chocolate chunk ice cream as well. An interesting conversation followed where Merylan mentioned gluten-free and finding gluten-free items in stores.

The Fairfax Fair was enjoyed and new schedules begin with the first days of school. Everyone seemed to have things they enjoy doing every fall. I think I can say that we all felt lucky to live here in northwest Missouri.
