There’s lots to see and do in September, including Tarkio College Alumni Weekend in Tarkio, Old Fashioned Saturday Night in Rock Port, and Great Northwest Wine Fest in Mound City. Locals go to great lengths to make these three events such a success each year. Be sure to attend!

Rock Port and East Atchison high school girls’ golf teams tee-off together Thursday, September 9, at 4:00 p.m. at the Tarkio Golf Course. East Atchison will host South Holt in varsity football action this Friday, September 10, at 7:00 p.m. in Tarkio. Rock Port’s varsity football game scheduled for this Friday has been cancelled due to not enough Stewartsville players available to play. Rock Port and East Atchison junior high football teams will take to the field in Rock Port Monday, September 13. Rock Port, Auburn, and East Atchison will face each other on the volleyball court in 7th grade play September 13 at 5:00 p.m. in Fairfax. The East Atchison Cross Country Teams will host their Indian Run September 13 at 4:30 p.m. in Tarkio (their only home competition). Get out and support our local athletes!
