The East Atchison and Rock Port high school cross country teams traveled to Maryville, Missouri, August 31, 2021, to compete in the Spoofhound Invitational. Three runners placed in the top 10: Aubrey Watkins (RP), 2nd, 24:01.33; Daniel Lesher (EA), 6th, 19:46.61; and Caleb Lucas (RP), 8th, 20:10.69. Twenty-seven females and 44 males ran in the event. Other competitors and their times include: EA girls – Alexis Bywater, 25th, 29:00.76; EA boys – Cole Anderson, 27th, 23:02.69; and Cowen O’Riley, 39th, 25:02.61.
