Platte Valley traveled to Blue Jay Stadium for Rock Port’s home opener Friday, September 3.

To start the game, Rock Port would receive the ball. Eight plays later Micah Makings would give the Blue Jays their first of eight touchdowns that were scored on the night.

Dakota Evans and Phillip Herron would also get in on the action. Dakota scored three touchdowns and Phillip had two.

The defense came up big allowing no points and only three first downs.

Senior Colten Stevens, in his first game of 2021, would lead the defense with 11 tackles. Brentyn Herron and Micah Makings both came up with fumbles that set the Jays up with short field position.

Rock Port’s game with Stewartsville this Friday night, September 10, has been canceled.
