Presiding Commissioner Curt Livengood and TAC Manager Nikki Parshall gave tours of the newly remodeled Tarkio Activity Center September 16, 2021, during the Northwest Commissioners Association meeting.

Tarkio Tech President John Davis starts the tour of the Tarkio Tech campus in the Tarkio Rotary Theater. John took the opportunity to give an overview of the programs currently being offered and their future plans for the facility.

The Atchison County Commission was host to the Northwest Commissioners Association Thursday, September 16, 2021. The event was held at the Tarkio Community Building. Registration began at 8:30 a.m., with Presiding Commissioner Curt Livengood welcoming everyone at 9:00 a.m. The Atchison County Commissioners were joined by around 55 guests and vendors, including Senator Dan Hegeman and Representative Allen Andrews, as well as representatives from other government offices.

At 9:45 a.m., everyone loaded up on buses to go take a tour of the Tarkio Tech Campus and the TAC (Tarkio Activity Center). Tarkio Tech president John Davis welcomed everyone to the campus and took the opportunity to showcase the facilities and their programs.

Following the tour, every-one returned to the Community Building to enjoy lunch, prepared by Chef Paul Presents. A board meeting followed and the meeting adjourned for the day.
