The second annual 275 Conference Junior High Volleyball Tournament will be played October 2 at the Tarkio Activity Center (110 N.13th Street). The co-op of Nodaway Valley put the amount of teams participating at seven, so to keep it at an easy eight, East Atchison will have two teams participate.

Games will be played with rally scoring to 25, best out of three, and third set to 15. Medals for 1st and 2nd place and a traveling trophy for champions will be handed out.

The schedule follows:

8:00 a.m. – Game 1, East Atchison 1 vs. Mound City (east court); and Game 3, Rock Port vs. South Holt (west court)

9:00 a.m. – Game 2, Nodaway Valley vs. North Nodaway (west court); and Game 4, Union Star vs. East Atchison 2

10:00 a.m. – Game 5, winners of Games 1 and 2 compete (east court); and Game 7, losers of Games 1 and Game 2 compete (west court)

11:00 a.m. – Game 6, winners of Games 3 and 4 compete (east court); and Game 8, losers of Games 3 and 4 compete (west court)

12:00 noon – Game 9, Consolation Game (west court); and Game 10, Third Place Game (east court)

1:00 p.m. – Game 11, Cham-p-ionship Game
