After a busy Homecoming week Rock Port Band kids left Rock Port at 3:30 a.m. Saturday morning to head to Carrollton Band Day, one of the biggest competitions in the state. Rock Port competed in parade, field, and indoor auxiliary. The Rock Port Band received second place in field performance with their Lion King show. The band will compete in parade and field this Saturday at the Southwest Iowa Band Jamboree in Clarinda, Iowa.
