The final artist to be featured in the Brownville Fine Arts Association 2021 Artist Series will be Andrea (Palmerton) Birch. Her show, “From My Heart to Yours,” will run through October 25 at the Schoolhouse Art Gallery. The Schoolhouse Art Gallery will be open Thursday – Sunday, 1:00-4:00 p.m. Andrea (Palmerton) Birch says, “Growing up in an artistic family with parents who loved nature led me to where I am today.” The final program of the 2021 Speaker Series will be Friday, October 15, at 6:30 p.m. John Lokke will present “A History of the Timber Rattlesnake in Nebraska.” Learn about the natural and human influenced history of Nebraska’s largest, most imperiled, and misunderstood venomous snake. Its late discovery by the scientific community occurred almost concurrently with its near elimination from the habitat. All programs are free and open to the public.
