On October 12, 2021, Tarkio Rotarians were glad to welcome the East Atchison Girls’ Golf team, who won first place at the district golf tournament. The golfers scored well in spite of weather challenges at Mozingo. Team members include Emmy Laur, Kelsea Kirwan, Josie King, Sydnee Bruns and Alex Barnett and are coached by Melody Barnett. This is the team’s second year as district champions. Rotarians wished them well as they play at the state tournament.
