Miss Fairfax Olivia Morris and Junior Miss Fairfax Piper Morris turned on the city park’s Christmas lights at Fairfax Light Night Saturday, November 27.

The Fairfax City Park is a beautiful sight to see all lit up for Christmas. It’s definitely the pride of the town this holiday season.

All who enter the Fairfax City Park will receive a festive Christmas greeting from Kent and Barb Fisher and family.

Children who attended Fairfax Light Night had a chance to pick out one gift each. Snacks were also available. These special treats and goodies were provided by the Fairfax Optimist and Kiwanis Clubs, Fairfax Agency, Kent Fisher, Kent and Janice Ray and family, Lane and Aimee Seymour, the Umbargers, John and Joyce Pierce, Richard and Mary Ellen Oswald, Tonya Oswald and family, Jay and Stephanie Smith, Fairfax Girl Scouts, Roger and Suzanne Southard, and The Cookie Cart by Amelia Larson.

KG Buds’ Christmas display received first place in the Business Lighting Contest during Fairfax Light Night.

MDT Market placed second in the the Business Lighting Contest during Fairfax Light Night with their holiday decor.

The face of Fairfax Agency is looking festive for the holidays. The business placed third in the Business Lighting Contest during Fairfax Light Night.

Dana Osburn’s family put up a festive snowman display at the Fairfax City Park that earned first place in the park lighting contest.

The Alldredges put up a gorgeous Christmas tree in memory of Robbie Alldredge at the Fairfax City Park. The display earned second place.

Beta Sigma Phi participated in the Fairfax City Park Light Night festivities by displaying this angel in memory of Dana Osburn, earning third place.
It was a beautiful night in Fairfax to celebrate the holiday season with the annual Light Night festivities. Miss Fairfax 2021 Olivia Morris and Junior Miss Fairfax 2021 Piper Morris turned on the Fairfax City Park’s Christmas lights and decor at the event.
Prizes and goodies were handed out to the youth in attendance and winners of the park’s lighting contest were announced. Display winners were: 1st, In Memory of Dana Osburn; 2nd, In Memory of Robbie Alldredge; and 3rd, Beta Sigma Phi. Business winners were: 1st, KG Buds; 2nd, MDT Market; and 3rd, Fairfax Agency.
Santa Claus rode in on a fire truck and he, Mrs. Claus, and their elf visited with the children, who gave them their wish lists.
