Xi Lambda Beta sponsoring Fairfax holiday lighting contest

Fairfax Xi Lambda Beta Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi is once again sponsoring a holiday lighting contest for Fairfax. Homes and businesses  will be judged December 13 – 17 by out-of-town judges.

Categories will include religious, traditional, patriotic, and whimsical. A grand prize will be awarded for the overall winner. A sign will be placed in the winners’ yards.

The best Christmas lights

The Tarkio Parks and Recreation Department is holding a contest for the best Christmas lights in town. The week of the Christmas Parade, the park board members will drive around and pick the most festive Christmas lights in Tarkio. There will be 1st, 2nd and 3rd place honors. Everyone is encouraged to participate. All you have to do is decorate the exterior of your home!
