Connie L. “Cindy” Bissell, the daughter of Larry Wayne and Wilma Jean (Stanford) Bradley, was born August 19, 1967, in Fairfax, Missouri. Cindy attended Craig High School, Craig, Missouri, graduating in 1985.

On May 23, 1985, Cindy was united in marriage to Rodney Bissell at the Baptist Church in Corning, Missouri. They became the parents of two children, Lana and Cody, and made their home in Corning.

Cindy was a homemaker, raising and caring for her children. She enjoyed watching the Kansas City Chiefs, reading, and spending time with her family and puppy, Penelope.

Cindy passed away Sunday, December 5, 2021, in Independence, Missouri, at the age of 54.

Besides her parents and husband, Rodney Bissell, Cindy was preceded in death by siblings, Patricia Hall, Leslie Bradley, and Ronald “Bub” Bradley. Survivors include children, Lana (Chris) Volker, Independence, and Cody (Lainey) Bissell, Lake of Ozarks, Missouri; grandchildren, Reagan and Adam Volker, and Thomas Bissell; siblings, Rhonda Hunziger, Tarkio, Missouri, Richard Bradley, Craig, Barbara (Myron) Jenkins, Auburn, Nebraska, Lorie Bradley, Thurman, Iowa, and Willie (Tylicia) Bradley, Fairfax; aunts, Geri (Steve) Duren, Rock Port, Missouri, Mary Harbin, Rock Port, Diana Husing (Dennis Platter) Shubert, Nebraska, and Tina Stout, Tarkio; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service and inurnment was held Monday, December 20, 2021, at Hunter Cemetery, Rock Port, Missouri. Pastor Kailea Nauman officiated.
