Bernard “Lee” Hope was born December 26, 1944, in Niskayuna, New York, to Ella Elizabeth (Duane) and Albert Hope. Lee served in the United States Army. He loved country music, traveling, and golfing in his younger days.

Lee passed away Tuesday, December 7, 2021, at his home in Tarkio, Missouri, at the age of 76.

Besides his parents, Lee was preceded in death by a daughter and two brothers. Survivors include wife of 30 years, Mary Hope, Tarkio; children, Bernard Lee Hope, Jr., Tennessee, and Sherry Hope, New York; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; siblings, Richard Hope, Linda, Nancy, and Patty, all of Florida; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside service and inurnment will be held at a later date at Leavenworth National Cemetery, Leavenworth, Kansas. There is no visitation. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Lee Hope Memorial Fund. Arrangements are under the direction of Davis Funeral Home, Tarkio.
