Jeremy Crow and Curt Graham with Oswald Crow Insurance were in to review the 2022 renewal of property and liability coverage for the county. The county’s current policy is written through Missouri Rural Services and has taken a significant increase annually. Mr. Crow agreed to seek additional bids from two additional companies that he works with and have those quotes to the county as soon as possible.

Maintenance Supervisor Greg Beck was in to discuss an issue with the insulation on the new heating and cooling system pipes that are located outside of the building. The coating has deteriorated and is exposing the pipes and causing loss of heat. He reported that he contacted the company that installed the system, and they contacted the vendor. The vendor reported that the coating on the lines was not UV protected and this has been an issue, but they would not warranty it. This information was not provided to the company that did the installation. A quote was provided by Lee’s Refrigeration to replace the refrigeration line insulation with a product that is UV protected. The commission approved the needed repairs.

There being no further business, the commission adjourned.
