Timothy Andrew Minter, the son of Tim and Rachel (Kingery) Minter, was born January 29, 1996, in Kansas City, Missouri. Andrew was a fun-loving son and a caring older brother to Alex and Olivia. He graduated from Platte County High School, Platte City, Missouri, in 2014 where he excelled at football, played basketball, and won friends with his heartwarming smile and genuine spirit. Growing up, Andrew was competitive and participated in baseball and track. While in high school, Andrew was a lifeguard and swim instructor at the YMCA of Platte City where he taught swim lessons for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder.

Andrew attended Northwest Missouri State University, Maryville, Missouri, before becoming a Team Leader with Bradford Street Lawn and Landscape, Platte City, overseeing landscaping, lawn care, and snow removal. He loved Chiefs football, hanging with his friends, listening to country music, making jokes, and his family. He especially loved hunting and spending time at the Lake of the Ozarks with family and friends. Andrew greeted everyone enthusiastically with a big smile and a hug. He would go out of his way to help anyone, no matter who you were: family, lifelong friend, or someone new. Andrew passed away Tuesday, February 8, 2022, in Kansas City, Missouri, at the age of 26.

Andrew was preceded in death by his grandfather, Richard Kingery. He is survived by his parents, Tim and Rachel Minter, and brother and sister, Alex and Olivia, all of Platte City; grandparents, Beverly Kingery, Platte City, and Mike and Fran Minter, Rock Port, Missouri; uncles, Rick (Mhairi) Kingery, Platte City, Ryan (Jill) Kingery, Fairfax, Missouri, Shawn (Jodee) Minter, Rock Port, and Michael (Julie) Minter, Huntington Beach, California; cousins, Logan, Nicola, Jake, and Grant Kingery, Trenton, Kendall, Mason, and Brenna Kingery, Mitchell, Corbin, Braden, and Gabriel Minter, and Jake Minter; and a host of friends.

A funeral service was held Tuesday, February 15, 2022, at The Rock of KC, Kansas City, Missouri, conducted by Pastor Phillip O’Reilly. Interment was at Linden Cemetery, Rock Port.
