Rock Port FBLA members attended an Entrepreneurship Challenge Wednesday, March 16, 2022, at Missouri Western State University in celebration of Entrepreneurship Week.

Rock Port students who attended included Sara Newbanks, Alisha Lomax, Dylan Kemerling, Micah Makings, and Brecken Kelly.

Students attended the weekly open forum “Cup of Joe” session where entrepreneurs discuss their business venture and get advice from other entrepreneurs. Students were then presented with a challenge for a St. Joseph business called Illuminate which provides family entertainment in the form of cosmic axe throwing, miniature golf, laser tag, and dodgeball.

Students were put into teams and presented solutions for the business. Dylan Kemerling was on the winning team and was awarded $50 to spend at the Missouri Western bookstore and a free axe throwing session at Illuminate.
