It is time again for the Christian Motorcyclists Association’s annual Run for the Son motorcycle ride. The members of the local Heartland Riders Chapter will be riding on Saturday, May 7, 2022.

Run for the Son is a fundraiser supporting evangelistic efforts in the United States and around the world. Of the monies collected, 20% is given to Missionary Ventures International which provides transportation for pastors in developing nations to use in reaching people with the Gospel. A total of 20% is given to the JESUS Film Project for translating and sending the JESUS film to people groups so they can hear the Gospel in their own language. Another 20% is given to Open Doors for sending Christian materials into countries closed to the Gospel. A total of 40% stays with CMA for spreading the Gospel in the USA.

The local chapter will be holding a garage sale on Friday and Saturday, April 29 and 30, in Tarkio and a Pizza Ranch (Maryville) fundraiser Monday, April 25, to raise funds. The Heartland Riders members are glad to participate in and support county and community events and appreciate the support the communities give their efforts to serve.
