DUAL MEET

The East Atchison Boys’ Golf Team competed in a dual meet April 5 at Mound City. There was no team score for East Atchison. River Dow shot a 48 and took third place. Cowen O’Riley shot a 68.

The East Atchison golfers, including Daniel Lesher, pictured, had to endure a miserable weather day for their home golf meet Wed-nesday, April 6, 2022. The wind was blowing between 20 and 30 mph, the temperature was in the low 40s, and it sprinkled off and on.

EA GOLFERS HOST FIRST HOME MEET OF THE SEASON

The East Atchison Boys’ Golf Team hosted Mound City and East Buchanan Wednesday, April 6, 2022, at the Tarkio Golf Course. It was a miserable weather day for golf, but all the boys stuck it out to finish the day.

Mound City finished with a team score of 216 and East Buchanan had a team score of 230. East Atchison only has three golfers so does not qualify as a team. Match medalist was Quinton Brandon of Mound City with an individual score of 51.

Individual scores for EA golfers are: River Dow – 53, Cowen O’Riley – 58, and Daniel Lesher – 69.

The Wolves will host the Rock Port Blue Jays at the Tarkio Golf Course Wednesday, April 13, at 4:00 p.m.
