The K-State College of Business Dean’s Student Advisory Council recently announced that Allyson Demott is the recipient of the Spring 2022 Outstanding Senior Award. Ally is majoring in Human Resource Management and Organizational Management with a certificate in Business of Sports and Entertainment.

As an undergraduate, Ally has been extensively involved in the College of Business. She has served as president of Business Ambassadors, a Student Senator for Business, a member of the Business College Tuition Committee and as a member of the Dean’s Student Advisory Council. Ally has been a member of the Student Governing Association, the Senate Operations Committee, and the KSU Collegiate Quiz Bowl Club.

Ally has received a number of awards and honors during her undergraduate career to include the Purple and White Scholarship, the Herbert and Neva Blevins Scholarship, the Dean’s List Scholarship, and the American FFA Degree.

Ally is a native of Rock Port, Missouri, and a 2018 graduate of Rock Port High School. Her parents are Marlene and Cecil Demott. After graduation, Ally plans to stay in Manhattan and work in her chosen field.
