The East Atchison and Rock Port high school athletes will soon be competing in district competitions for their chance to advance to state. The following is the district schedule for each sport:

• The track teams will compete in the Class 1, District 5 track meet at King City High School in King City, Missouri, Saturday, May 7. Field events will start at 9:30 a.m. and running events will begin at 10:15 a.m.

• The boys’ golf teams will be competing in the Class 1, District 4 golf tournament at the Excelsior Springs Golf Course, Excelsior Springs, Missouri. The event will begin at 9:00 a.m Monday, May 9.

• The Rock Port baseball team will compete in the Class 1, District 16 tournament at Northeast Nodaway High School in Ravenwood, Missouri. The tournament will begin Wednesday, May 13.

• The East Atchison baseball team will compete in the Class 2, District 16 tournament at Maysville High School in Maysville, Missouri. The tournament will take place Saturday, May 14, Monday, May 16, and Wednesday, May 18. Days and times the Wolves will be playing have yet to be determined.
