The high school chorus sang “Fly Away Home,” “The Road Not Taken,” and “Storm” at the spring concert. Abby Palmer is the music director, and Richard Boettner was the accompanist.
The high school concert band played “Spania” and “Exaltation” at the spring concert.
The Rock Port Junior High and High School Auxiliary performed in the junior high showcase to “Thunderstruck.”
The sixth grade band performed at the spring music concert.
The Rock Port Music Department held its spring concert Wednesday, May 4, 2022, under the direction of Mrs. Abby Palmer. Accompanist was Richard Boettner.
The sixth grade intermediate band performed “El Capitan,” “Largo from Symphony No. 9,” “The Feather Theme” (from Forrest Gump), and “Gregorian Chant.” Band members are: Logan Kish and Jessa Geib, flute; Cooper Daugherty, alto saxophone; Wyatt Huntley and Brandon Athen, trumpet; Talyn Amthor, French horn; Karlie Gebhards, John Gillem, and Jaysen Hudson, trombone; Levi Lucas, baritone; and Aidan Smyser, Kennedi Seiter, Ameila Mason, and Eliza Mason, percussion.
The seventh grade chorus performed “Bonse Aba” (Zambian song) and “I’m a Believer” (from Shrek). Members of the chorus are: Audrey Dougherty, Lily Lager, Claire Miller, and Brylea Shrader, sopranos; Alley Sharpless, Tatum Vogler, Landrey Kelly, Morgan Garst, Mya Welch, Sophia Storm, Lily Wilroy, alto; Jadyn Geib, Jordan Kuhns, Desmond Chaney, Justin Kuhns, Brock Sebek-Holmes, Gabe Gebhards, Justin Waterland, Izac Hurst, Braidyn Buckner, Corbin Wallace, Case Millsap, Jack Meyerkorth, Blayne Gubser, Jascon Casey, Braxton Melton-Davis, Dayton Hays, and Westyn Amthor, baritone.
The junior high and high school chorus combined to sing “I Know An Old Woman.”

The Rock Port Junior High Auxiliary performed to “Thunderstruck” by AC/DC. Junior high members are: Kinleigh Daugherty, Audrey Dougherty, Morgan Garst, Claire Miller, Alley Sharpless, Sophia Storm, Mya Welch, and Lily Wilroy. The girls were joined by the high school auxiliary.
The junior high concert band performed “Solid As A Rock” and “Alpine Overture.” Band members are: Lily Wilroy and Mya Welch, flutes; Audrey Dougherty, clarinet; Izac Hurst, trumpet; Desmond Chaney, baritone sax; Gabe Gebhards, tuba; and Emma Teten, Jordan Kuhns, and Sophie Storm, percussion.
The 6th-12th Grade Concert Band performed “Star Wars (Main Title)” and “Unsinkable Farewell (Nearer My God To Thee).”
