Atchison County Library’s Summer Reading Wildlife Encounters’ program will take place Monday, June 13. Wildlife Encounters will provide a program concerning the oceans and present related wildlife for the children’s experience. Rock Port’s program will be held at 10:00 a.m. at the Memorial Building. Tarkio’s program will be held at 12:00 noon in the basement of the Tarkio Resource Center. Fairfax’s program will be held at 2:00 p.m. in the fire station.

Next week’s edition of the Atchison County Mail is the first saturation issue of 2022. The newspaper will be “saturated” with extra news articles, advertisements, and photographs and will be sent to all Atchison County mailboxes whether you have a subscription or not. Enjoy!

Make plans to attend Liberty Theatre’s production of “Disney’s Freaky Friday A New Musical” at the Atchison County Memorial Building in Rock Port. The show will be held at 7:00 p.m. June 17, 18, 24, and 25, and at 2:30 p.m. June 19 and 26.

Happy Anniversary to my beautiful wife and thank you for putting up with me for 29 years. To look back at our life together and see what we have built and the memories we have created, I wouldn’t change anything. We have raised three great children, who have exceeded our expectations.
