Each year the Northwest Missouri Industries workshop picks ears of corn for a squirrel corn contract they have. Over the years they have been blessed with local farmers donating a portion of their crop for the workshop employees to hand pick the corn. In addition to that, Heinen Brothers had allowed the workshop to plant a small section next to their shop.
