The Liberty Theatre sponsored a youth production workshop for area children.

Ariel was played by Reese Herron.

Flounder was played by Briar Daugherty, King Triton was played by Austin Helfers, and Jack Bailey was Sebastian.

Audrey Dougherty played Ursula.

Malachi Davis was Grimsby.

Chef Louis was portrayed by Isabella Kroeger.

Over 20 children participated in Liberty Theatre’s production of “The Little Mermaid, Jr.,” performed this past weekend at the theatre inside the Atchison County Memorial Building in Rock Port. The students worked hard throughout the week learning their lines and choreography, as well as getting used to being in the limelight and wearing makeup and costumes. Then they took the stage Friday and Saturday nights for a packed house full of their family and friends.
