As Fall is upon us and we are entering yet into a new season let us be reminded of Ecclesiastes 3:1, “For everything there is a season, and a time for every purpose under heaven.”

As we go through different seasons here in this beautiful place that we live and we see the visible changes – the leaves changing to bright auburn red and mustard yellow – so too do we experience different seasons in our own lives. Things change so quickly and although we do not see the leaves changing what we walk through will transform our lives. Sometimes we walk through deep valleys, sometimes we walk through joyous occasions, all have purposes.

The Lord will waste nothing that we walk through, our deepest pain to our greatest joy. Jeremiah 29:11 says, “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope ad a future.”

Whatever we are walking through in this season of life, where ever you find yourself today, I hope you find refuge and strength in the Lord. My prayer is that you will lean into the Father who loves you, sees you and wants to walk with you. The seasons may change but the love of the Father never changes. That is one thing we can always be sure of.

My prayer for this season we are entering comes from Numbers 6:24-26, “The Lord bless you and keep you; The Lord make His face shine upon you, and be gracious to you; The Lord lift up His countenance upon you, and give you peace.
