The East Atchison and Rock Port Cross Country teams traveled to Maryville, Missouri, August 30, 2022, to compete in the Spoofhound Invitational.

The East Atchison Varsity Boys finished 3rd overall as a team. The East Atchison Varsity Girls finished 5th overall as a team and broke their team record of 2:32:51 with a time of 2:11:07. Jayla Irvine medaled in 8th place. Daniel Lesher medaled with a 12th place finish and Cole Anderson medaled at 14th. Coach Kameron Schieffer commented, “We had a variety of really good times, especially for the first meet.”

Rock Port’s Norah Watkins medaled with 3rd place and Caleb Lucas medaled at 11th.
