Jarrett Spinnato easily steps into the endzone for an extra two points for the Wolves. The EA senior had 96 rushing and 22 receiving yards in the win and scored three touchdowns in addition to this two-point conversion.

Although the EA offense won the game for the Wolves, their defense may have been the true stars of the victory, causing four turnovers and allowing just three WildCard first downs.

Braden Graves had no worries as he ran down the field to score one of his three touchdowns in the EA win in Stewartsville. He had 90 rushing yards and 8 receiving yards and also scored on a two-point conversion.

Blake Simmons steps back to survey the field. Simmons had 23 rushing and 30 passing yards in the victory, as well as one touchdown and two two-point conversions.

On Friday, October 7, 2022, the undefeated East Atchison Wolves High School Football Team traveled to Stewartsville, Missouri, to face the Osborn/Stewartsville WildCards.

The Wolves’ defense was on the field to start the game. They quickly moved the WildCards backward to force a punt. EA’s offense easily found the end zone with Braden Graves scoring one of his three touchdowns on the night.

The Wolves dominated on both sides of the ball, allowing EA to improve on play execution and defensive rotations. At the end of the first quarter, the score was EA 14, Osborn/Stewartsville 0. The second quarter saw EA score 36 more points to bring the score to EA 50, Oswald/Stewartsville 0. Due to the mercy rule, the game was called.

There are only two more regular season games until Districts. This Friday, October 14, the Wolves will travel to Stanberry, Missouri, to face the Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m.
