Cynthia “Cyndy” J. Caudill, the daughter of Dallas and Betty Jo (Smith) Carlisle, was born on May 11, 1956, in Fairfax, Missouri. She passed away on November 13, 2022, in Fairfax. Cyndy was united in marriage to Christopher White and together they had two children, Billy and Melanie. In 2012, she was united in marriage to Dennis Caudill.

Cyndy enjoyed working with people throughout her careers, including Tarkio Rehab and her favorite job that she talked about the most, Tarkio Academy, which included The Walnut Inn. She also enjoyed owning The North Side Saloon in Tarkio.

Things she loved: spending time with her grandchildren, long drives, visits to Las Vegas, Nevada, and playing the penny slots. Even though she never quite mastered it, she also loved to dance. She was fascinated with Route 66 and enjoyed a vacation there to see it in person in 2018. She took great pride and care of her flower garden and neighborhood cats. During her lifetime, Cyndy made many friends and memories and spent time with people who meant a lot to her, including Hannah Bane and her family.

Survivors include her husband, Dennis Caudill; her mother, Betty Lane; daughter, Melanie Herron; grandchildren, Sean (Brook), Blair, and Presley; sister, Shari (Doug) Laird; and many beloved nieces, nephews, and extended family. Survivors also include stepchildren, Brian (Jill) Caudill, Bradley (Audra) Caudill, Amy (Jamie) Rice and many beloved step-grandchildren.

Cyndy was preceded in death by her father, Dallas Carlisle; stepfather, Dean Lane; son, Billy; sister, Terry Carlisle; nephew, Kerry Beasing and son-in-law, Reno Herron.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 16, 2022, at First Baptist Church, Tarkio, conducted by Rev. Glenn Scott. The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, prior to the service. Interment will be at Home Cemetery, Tarkio. Memorials may be directed to the Cyndy Caudill Memorial Fund.
