Asher Stepp was the jack-in-the-box, who was always confused about what holiday it was.
Several students had parts and lines in the musical – such as Avery Vardaman (Santa), Paxton Smith (cowgirl), Lance Rainey (cowboy), and Lance Lambert (stuffed animal).
Tarkio Elementary K-2nd students put on a holiday production of “TOYS! The Night They Come Alive!” for family members last week in the Tarkio High School Auditorium.
The Tarkio Elementary K-2nd graders performed “TOYS! The Night They Come Alive!” for family members last week at Tarkio High School. The musical was directed by Mrs. Melody Barnett. The students sang “Glee Under The Tree,” “We’re Alive,” “The Teddy Bear Tango,” “Rag Doll Rock,” “Christmas Dreams,” and “Reprise: Glee Under The Tree.” Students who played characters and had speaking parts included: Jack-in-the-box – Asher Stepp; Santa – Avery Vardaman; Dolls – Kenzi Howard and Lilly Maupin; Ballerinas – Dani Burke, Violet Gish, and Scarlett Gladman; Toy Soldiers – Tiberius Baruth and Brady Richards; Cowboy – Lance Rainey; Cowgirl – Paxton Smith; Stuffed Animals – Clark Wood and Lance Lambert; Transformers – Diesyl Slemp, Holden Bruce, and Jasper Thomas; Teddy Bears – Rayneigh Parsons and Kiera England; Clock – Noah Oppie-Arnold and Harmunee Havrum; Crayons – Arianna Robertson, McKynna Nicholas, Myla Stone, Phaelynn Williams, and Elizabeth Lundy.
