The Watson Fire Department sponsored a Christmas lighting contest for residences within a five-mile radius of the Watson Fire Station. First place honors went to Brandi Bailey. Danny and Wenona Fischer won second place, and Andy and Molly Spiegel won third place. Honorable mention was awarded to the following: Reed and Staci Martin, D.J. and Sandy Thompson, Larry and Kerri Ohrt, Trans East, Stephen and Tiffanie Gaines, Rod Meinders, and Matt Gibson.
