
Bonnie Lee Hughes, the daughter of James Cecil and Ruth Maxine (Linville) Hughes, was born February 3, 1951, in Memphis, Tennessee. She attended Rock Port, Missouri, schools.
Bonnie was employed briefly by White Rock Motel, Rock Port. Otherwise, she was a homemaker for most of her life.
Bonnie was a member of the Assembly of God Church, Tarkio, Missouri. She enjoyed watching the Minnesota Vikings and was an avid fan. Bonnie passed away Sunday, January 1, 2023, at Pleasant View Nursing Home, Rock Port, at the age of 71.
Besides her parents, Bonnie was preceded in death by husband, Tom Hughes; and siblings, Janet Thomas, Jimmie Hughes, and Steve (Hope) Hughes. Survivors include children, Kevin Christian, Rock Port, Jamie (Becky) Thomas, Persia, Iowa, and Lisa (Mike) Blackenter, Marshall, Missouri; daughter-in-law, Chris (Chris) Sticken, Rock Port; grandchildren, Hayley (Jordan) Sipes, Jordan Christian, Ashley (Brett) Gayler, and Landon, Lillian, and Lincoln Thomas; great-grandchildren, Asher and Adalyn Sipes; best friend, Kathie Reynolds, Rock Port; siblings, Rick (Brenda) Hughes, Gary (Joyce) Hughes, and Midge (Steve) Hunter, all of Rock Port; sister-in-law, Marilyn Hughes, Rock Port; brother-in-law, Joe Stephens, Rock Port; and nieces, nephews, and cousins.
There are no scheduled memorial services. A private family inurnment will be held at a later date.
