Four-State Honor Band was held Saturday, January 21, 2023, at Northwest Missouri State University. Abby Palmer, Rock Port director, nominated three RPHS Band students. Selected for the Honor Symphonic Band, from left to right, were: Kylie Beasing (clarinet), Anneliese Clauson (flute), and Sara Newbanks (bass clarinet). They rehearsed all day under the direction of Mr. John Bell, Director of the NWMSU Wind Symphony. The band performed at a concert that evening.
