Due to the cost of buying water from the Atchison County Wholesale Water Commission, Tarkio Board of Public Works customer rates will be increasing. Rate increases will be included on the bills being sent out by mail January 23, 2023.

Water service will be provided to each location at the following rates for each month of service, which usage shall be measured by the water service meter or meters installed on the premises:

• 1/2 to 5/8 inch meter service size, $36.50 minimum with 1,000 gallons included and $15.50 per 1,000 or any fraction thereof after minimum of water used.

• 1 inch meter service size, $45.50 minimum with 1,000 gallons included and $15.50 per 1,000 or any fraction thereof after minimum of water used.

• 1 1/2 inch meter service size, $65.50 minimum with 1,000 gallons included and $15.50 per 1,000 or any fraction thereof after minimum of water used.

• 2 inch meter service size, $86.50 minimum with 1,000 gallons included and $15.50 per 1,000 or any fraction thereof after minimum of water used.

• 2 1/2 inch meter service size, $126.50 minimum with 1,000 gallons included and $15.50 per 1,000 or any fraction thereof after minimum of water used.

• 3 inch meter service size, $164.50 minimum with 1,000 gallons included and $15.50 per 1,000 or any fraction thereof after minimum of water used.

• 4 inch meter service size, $392.50 minimum with 1,000 gallons included and $15.50 per 1,000 or any fraction thereof after minimum of water used.
