The Atchison County-Wide 2023 ‘on location’ mobile day camp is returning to Atchison County Missouri for its fifth year. The non-denominational day camp will be held June 12 – 16 at the Rock Port United Methodist Church.

The cost is $100 per camper, but scholarships are available to reduce cost. Contact one of the three churches, Fairfax UMC, Tarkio UMC or Rock Port UMC, for more information.

In partnership with Eagle Lake Camps, highly trained college-age staff/counselors have life-on-life ministry with every camper. This non-denominational mobile day camp pairs high-energy fun with gospel centered worship that will leave your camper excited about living their life for Jesus Christ! Kids will have a blast with the wide range of activities like bouncing in the inflatables, scaling the rock walls, playing Gaga ball, down the water slides, bungie swing and singing and dancing to silly songs.

A non-denominational camp means that youth are taught about Jesus Christ without pointing to any certain church affiliation. That opens up camp to every individual who is 6-12 years old to attend.

For families that would have a hard time getting their kids to Rock Port every day, a bus will be provided to transport kids from Tarkio and Fairfax to Rock Port in the morning and take them back in the afternoon.

If your child is between the ages of 13-17, they could attend camp as a crew member for only $20. They will assist the counselors throughout the day and get to enjoy the same activities as the campers.

If you register your campers before February 28, Eagle Lake Camps will give you a $25 discount for early registration, for each camper, which would drop the cost to $75 each. (Eagle Lake Camp says $25 is due at the time of registration online. This amount holds your youth’s spot; the $25 is a non-refundable, non-transferable deposit. Full payment is due by the end of May, two weeks prior to camp.) There are discounts applied at the end of registration which takes the price down to $100 (any amount you added for the camp store will be added to the $100 for your total.)
