Erika Daugherty gave the Tarkio Rotary Club an update on the Nutrition Center happenings.

At the Tarkio Rotary Club meeting Tuesday, February 7, 2023, the Rotarians welcomed new member Paige Agnew. Her mentors are Don White and Gary Riley.

The members also welcomed Erika Daugherty, the current administrator of the Nutrition Center in Tarkio. The Atchison County Nutrition Center, located on the 400th block of Main Street in Tarkio, opened in 1975. Erika shared that the center serves 1,600 meals each month. There are four employees at the center. Meals are delivered daily by volunteers to residents of Tarkio and Fairfax. The center also has a library, pool table, and other games available for the senior citizens.
