Julie Jones, CEO of Community Hospital-Fairfax, was elected to a one-year term as president of the Missouri Hospital Association’s North District Council.

As District Council President, Jones’ responsibilities include presiding over council meetings and guiding discussions on association policies and activities. One of six MHA district council presidents, she will direct input from council members on national, state and regional health care policies to the MHA Board of Trustees.

Jones has served in hospital executive leadership for more than 20 years. She was selected as CEO of Community Hospital-Fairfax in January 2019. Jones served as the hospital’s Chief Nursing Officer beginning in November 2015 and as CNO/Patient Services Coordinator at Beatrice Hospital and Health Center in Nebraska before joining Community Hospital-Fairfax.
