Ying Li – Pianist,
Young Concert Artists Series
Twenty-four-year-old Chinese pianist Ying Li is the first prize winner of the 2021 Young Concert Artists Susan Wadsworth International Auditions, as well as recipient of The Bridgehampton Chamber Music Festival Prize and the Tri-I Noon Recitals Prize. She has received top awards in numerous national and international competitions.

Carole J. Bufford – Roar, Music of the Jazz Age!
Roar! Music of the Jazz Age, features classics from the Jazz Age songbook made famous by the likes of Sophie Tucker, Louis Armstrong, Al Jolson, Fats Waller, Bessie Smith, Helen Morgan, Ruth Etting, and more. Come join Carole as she travels back to a time where flappers, vamps and sheiks were shimmying in gin joints as a whirl of great social and political change happened all around.

Tim Connell – Give My Regards . . . To America!
Critically acclaimed actor, singer, and storyteller Tim Connell makes his debut concert appearance at the Brownville Concert Series alongside Musical Director James Followell. The evening’s program will invite the audience to take a journey with him as he celebrates his Irish heritage and his ancestors who ventured to America, then on to celebrate the spirit and soul of America through the American Songbook, classic folk, Broadway and other traditional tunes.

Ryanhood – Acoustic Guitar Duo
Named ‘Best Group/Duo’ in the International Acoustic Music Awards, acoustic-duo Ryanhood got their first break more than a decade ago as street performers at Boston’s Quincy Market. Their shows are driven by strong acoustic guitar performances and is at turns energetic, hopeful, and quietly moving – a musical invitation to breathe, and to soak in a river of melodies and harmonic hooks.

Christmas Gala – Don’t Let Christmas Pass You By!
Brownville favorite Eric Michael Gillett returns with an all-star cast (Marta Saunders, Karen Akers and more) to ring in the 2023 holiday season with a celebration of all that is promised during “the most wonderful time of the year!” Gillett is no stranger to holiday shows, having produced and directed multiple seasonal concerts both in Brownville and in Yew York City. Join them for a very special evening of holiday spirit, filled with songs of the season, of gratitude, of family, of hope, and inspiration.

Tickets are $25 for adults and $16 for students. The Nebraska Arts Council, a state agency, supports this program through a matching grant funded by the Nebraska Legislature, the National Endowment for the Arts and the Nebraska Cultural Endowment.
