Tarkio Elementary students celebrated Read Across America Week with a “Drop Everything and Read” day, dress-up days, and a visit from The Cat in the Hat. Dress-up days included “It’s A Twin Thing” (dress like twins), “Happy Birthday Cat” (wear stripes and a hat); “Fox in Socks” (wear crazy socks), and “Be A Grinch” (wear a Christmas shirt).
