Rock Port R-II School held its annual academic banquet on March 1, 2023, in the Rock Port High School Gymnasium. The Rock Port R-II Trust and the Rex R. Shandy Charitable Trust present scholarships to Rock Port graduates. Recipients were Makenna Farmer, Ashley Cue, Aubrey Watkins, and Megan Stevens. Makenna and Megan each received the Shandy Scholarship and Ashley and Aubrey received the Rock Port R-II Scholarship.

Dr. Leslie (Alitz) Wittmann was the speaker for the evening. Dr. Wittmann talked about her experiences at Rock Port and following high school. Her message was about working hard to achieve your goals and that nothing comes easy.
