The Rock Port High School varsity scholar bowl team traveled to Oregon, Missouri, March 2, 2023, for their first matches of the year. After trailing South Holt 70-190 at half time, the Blue Jays came to life in the second half and won 280-240. The Blue Jays fell to South Nodaway 190-240, but ended the night with a 340-30 win over Osborn. Individual point totals for the night were Bannack Skillen with 180, Carter Gebhards and Malachi Skillen with 40 each, and Anneliese Clauson with 30, with the team scoring 520 bonus points.
