Rock Port High School graduate Fischer Tharp recently completed his Associate’s Degree at State Fair Community College in Sedalia, Missouri, with a major in political science. Following his graduation, he was accepted to Central Methodist University in Fayette, Missouri, where he was recognized for earning a spot on the Dean’s List (earning a grade point average of 3.50 or higher for the semester) during his fall 2022 semester. Fischer, the son of Bryan and Shannon Tharp, is majoring in math education and pre-law.
