The Blue Jays visited Tarkio for a scholar bowl match March 7. The Jays defeated Nodaway-Holt 360-220, DeKalb 290-130, and Tarkio 310-140. Bannack Skillen led the team in toss up points with 240; Anneliese Clauson and Malachi Skillen each contributed 40; and Carter Gebhards contributed 30 points. Sara Newbanks and Tarver Muntz also played and helped contribute to the team’s 610 bonus points.

The Blue Jays stayed in the county to face opponents at Fairfax March 14. They defeated North Nodaway 480-60, Fairfax 400-60, and Stewartsville 480-70. Bannack Skillen scored 290 on toss-ups, Carter Gebhards scored 110, Malachi Skillen scored 40, Anneliese Clauson scored 10. Logan Lomax helped contribute to the team’s 910 bonus points.
