The East Atchison Wolves Varsity Baseball Team hosted St. Joseph Christian (SJC) Tuesday, March 21, 2023, at the Tarkio City Ball Field. The Wolves stayed in it until the end, but St. Joseph Christian pulled away late in a 10-6 victory.
The Wolves collected five hits to SJC’s 10 in the high-scoring affair. Oswald led things off on the mound for EA. He pitched five and two-thirds innings, allowing nine runs on nine hits and striking out four. Alex Erickson threw one and one-third innings out of the bullpen. Blake Simmons led EA with two hits and Charlie Litherbury led the Wolves in runs batted in with three.

Charlie Litherbury – 1 hit (double), 3 RBIs, 1 walk, 1 strikeout; 1 out

The jr. varsity Wolves also took a shot at SJC. A single in the second inning helped the Wolves battle to a 5-5 tie. EA racked up seven hits. Trent Kingery and Gabe Harms led the Wolves with two hits each and Kingery had the most Wolf RBIs with three.
