Tarkio/Westboro/Fairfax Food Pantry

The Tarkio/Westboro/Fairfax, Missouri, Food Pantry is currently low on the following items: vegetables (15 oz. cans – potatoes, cut green beans, French style green beans, mixed vegetables, whole corn, cream style corn, peas, carrots, sauerkraut), pastas (Ramen noodles, macaroni, medium egg noodles, spaghetti), canned pasta (beefaroni, SpaghettiOs), Blue Bonnet margarine (1 lb. sticks), beef or chicken pot pies, and laundry detergent.

Monetary donations are also appreciated as the money allows the shelves to be stocked with the items that are low. Donations intended for the local food pantry need to be given directly to the pantry. For after hours donations, call 816-261-2672.

The Westboro United Methodist Church will open the pantry March 28 and 30 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. The Fairfax Baptist and Christian Churches will open the pantry April 18, 20, 25, and 27 from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. The pantry will also be open Tuesday evening, April 18, from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m.

The food pantry is located at 315 Main Street in Tarkio.

Rock Port Food Pantry

The Rock Port Food Pantry is low on the following items: Pancake mix (complete ), apricots, pineapple, beef stew, instant potatoes, stuffing, instant rice, Jell-O/pudding mixes, cake/brownie mixes, icing, jelly, cereal, dish soap, laundry soap, and trash bags.

Items can be taken to the Rock Port United Methodist Church, 211 W. Opp. The food pantry is located in the fellowship hall. The food pantry will be open Friday, March 24, 5:00 – 6:30 p.m.; Tuesday, April 4, 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon; Friday, April 14, 5:00 – 6:30 p.m.; Tuesday, April 18, 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon; and Friday, April 28, 5:00 – 6:30 p.m.
