Under the tutelage of teacher/caller Wilma Jean Randall and caller hauler LaVern Harmes of Clarinda, Iowa, several northwest Missouri residents can now take the dance floor with confidence. Teaching the steps to country square dance, waltz, line dance, two step, etc., Wilma provided these locals with the knowledge and ability to join in the fun when attending a dance. The dance lessons were held every Sunday for the past three months at Thompson Learning Center on the Tarkio Tech Campus.

Dancers ages 12 to 81 had great fun in learning the dances and getting exercise at the same time. Westboro attendees Britney Laur and Brett Barber said they learned a lot. Brett laughed when he recalled that Britney signed them up and that he was not looking forward to going and that it was a very silent ride to their first class. But once they were there and getting the hang of things, he really enjoyed it and recommends more people join the fun (even men).
