The Steering Committee of Tarkio Tech hosted an April Fool’s Day Party Saturday, April 1, 2023, at the Tarkio Community Building to raise funds to provide scholarships for local students wanting to attend Tarkio Tech. Around 140 people attended the event and contributed approximately $2,000. Children through elderly enjoyed line and square dancing, karaoke, performances by the Ladies in Black, drinks sold by River Rock Lanes, a 50/50 raffle, food provided by Groovy’s Grub food truck, and music played by Mark Mitchell. More parties like this one will be held throughout the year to continue to raise funds for Tarkio Tech students. Stay tuned!
