Cameron Oswald chases down a runner in an attempt to tag him out.

The East Atchison Wolves Varsity Baseball Team fell behind early to the South Holt Knights and lost 2-8 Monday, March 27, 2023, in Tarkio.

The Wolves varsity struggled to contain the high-powered offense of South Holt, giving up eight runs.

Cameron Oswald was the first Wolf on the pitcher’s mound. He allowed three hits and four runs over one and two-thirds innings, striking out two. Alex Erickson threw five and a third innings in relief. Tate Johnson went deep in the fourth inning, hitting a home run. He led the Wolves in RBIs with two and Cameron Oswald led EA in hits with two. Owen DeRosier had five outs from the outfield.
