Tarkio’s Wright triplets, Titus (not pictured), Charlotte, and Brinkley (with assistance from their little sister, Willow), celebrated their birthday last week. Instead of asking for presents as most children do, they asked all of their family and friends to instead donate money to Paw Prints. Paw Prints is an animal rescue fund set up by Megan McAdams and run on donations that pay for veterinary care, food, supplies, and shelter fees, as well as finds homes for animals in need in Atchison County. The triplets love animals and wanted to give back to the community in a way that helped them, and they sure did! The kids collected a total of $625, as well as numerous pet food and supplies. To see local children being so selfless at such a young age makes us so proud of our youth and hopeful for the future! If you would like to help Atchison County animals in need, monetary donations made out to Paw Prints may be dropped off or mailed to: Farmers State Bank, P.O. Box 158, Tarkio, MO 64491.
